The Department of Social Policy has developed a Migrant Resource guides, both in Castilian and Arabic.
In total, 800 copies in Spanish and 200 in Arabic.
The idea was, as reported by the Councillor for Social Policy Mariana Gómez "due to the high demand for information from immigrants about the steps to regularize their status, as well as the places they had to go ".
Thus, the guides have been developed with the aim of providing information to immigrants and to direct the procedures to be followed to regularize and normalize their status in Spain, "adds Gomez.
The guide speaks of the city, rights and duties, citizenship and fellowship, information and basic advice, procedures and background documentation, accommodation, residence permit, work permit, nationality and return options and issues concerning education, health , Entertainment, Culture, Sports, driving, employment, marriage, unions, housing and opening bank accounts, among others.
This action is part of the Host Program and integration of immigrants and guides will be distributed through the various UTS, in the center of social services and activities carried out by the Department.
The content has been developed by the technicians to the Department of Social Policy, by a multidisciplinary team of educators, social workers and general counsel.
