Since last summer, the Department of Works and Urban Jumilla City Council prepared a report on the statement of debris from various properties located in the Historic Art.
Since that time no action has been taken, nor has authorized the demolition of the same, by the Autonomous Region, despite the constant claims by the City Council.
These properties concern, besides the already known of the Plaza de la Constitucion 2, or House of Molina, the danger has caused the closure of the Museum for several months, other pottery shop located on Calle 41, Calle PASIC 2, and affluent street in 3, 5, 7 and 9.
Thus, the Mayor has submitted a proposal to the Governing Board to urge the General Directorate of Fine Arts and Cultural Heritage Service for a ruling, imminently, on the demolition of these buildings, as well as required, also imminent, the owner of the property in Constitution Square, number two to present the rehabilitation project.
