From the Center for Social Services in Jumilla, in particular within the Host Program for Immigrant Social Integration, have designed some activities to bring awareness among different segments of the population in general.
One is a workshop, 'The Magic of Recycling', whose content is aimed at instilling values of respect for the Environment and Interculturalism.
The councilman of Social Policy, Mariana Gómez stated that "the objective is to sensitize students to the environment and recycling and work in a transversal theme of multiculturalism and coexistence, as well as all children to inculcate values such as respect for the environment associated with respect for people and walk towards a healthy living, through games and activities that are attractive to them. "

The workshop is open to children from second grade and the first one was held at the Colegio Cruz de Piedra.
The other schools have also been notified and expected the cooperation of all to carry out this activity.
This workshop is performed by Pedro Perez, Social Worker Social Services Centre, for which you scroll through all schools.
Through a visual presentation and educational materials designed for that purpose it works, at the group level, the content developed with the aim of "our children learn about the importance of good relations between people and their environment," according Pedro Perez reports.
The first workshop was held last week in the Stone Cross School, led to a total of 28 children and a degree of involvement and satisfaction notable both by the board and of the students.
They also distributed a brochure-story served as the working media and recycled pencils and a pencil-shaped container (green, yellow and blue), and knowing how to put the waste.
In presenting the children could see pictures of Jumilla: its natural environment, areas where waste is dumped illegally, the consequences of a fire cycle of material recycling, water saving systems in agriculture, methods to save electricity and water resources natural tolerance and respect, among others.
In the end, each child received a participation certificate from the Department of Social Policy and Assistance, "to never forget everything you learned in 90 minutes," the Social Worker.
