Jumilla celebrates Carnival from 13 to 16 February with various activities organized by the neighborhood association Calvary Street and collaboration of the Department of Festivities.
The Councillor for this area Ildefonso Jimenez publicly thanked "all the agencies involved in the development of the Carnival and, above all, the AA.VV the street from Calvary, for their efforts to maintain this tradition."
Jimenez also invited all to participate and dress up.

On Saturday 13, from 22:00 am in Calvary Street Carnival will be a dance with a costume contest.
Entries must be enabled to perform in the tent on this street and it costs 10 euros for groups or troupes and individual or couples five euros.
Be distributed various prizes, including a ham and a few surprises for Best Comparsa, Best Mask and the more original.
From 1:00 am begin 'Fiestódromo' located on Avenida de Levante, from churros to the IES Arzobispo Lozano.
This section will be closed until 4:00 in the morning.
Sunday 14, at 17:00 pm The parade traditionally begins with the Uncle of Higuico, Mobile Disco, Inflatable and Make-Up Workshop.
All these activities will take place in Calvary Street.
The next day, from 11:15 am Parade will take place on Carnival IV schools, organized by the Department of Education and with the participation of schools: Our Lady of the Assumption, Mariano Suarez, Cruz de Piedra, Virgen de la Esperanza and Cañada del Trigo.
The parade will begin at the door of Vico Theatre, through Cánovas, avenues of the Assumption Catholic Kings, to finish at the Tour Poet Lorenzo Guardiola.
That same day, at 17:00 pm in Calvary Street, there will be mobile disco, inflatable characters visit Madagascar and sharing toys.
The activities end on Tuesday 16 February, mobile disco and a parade of masks, on Calvary Street from 17:00.
