The Department of Culture of the City of Jumilla and the Public Library have announced the first edition of the Bookmark Contest, under the generic title of 'Your Library'.
According to the rules, the contest is open to children aged up to 12 years.
The theme is: "Your Library."
The works, which may be made of any artistic technique (collage, painting, recycled materials ...), should be on paper or cardboard that is half of A4 (10.5 x 29.7 cm).
The reverse must bear the name, telephone number and age of the author.
The deadline for submission of work will end on April 30 at 13 hours and must be delivered to the Public Library of Jumilla.
The jury will be composed of persons of the organization and with acknowledged expertise in the cultural field.
The jury's decision and the awards will take place on May 11.
The papers will be presented in the Public Library.
Have established several awards, first prize and two runners to recognize especially the creativity and originality of the work.
The originator or creator of the bookmark winner will receive a diploma, a lot of teaching and his work will be published.
The two runners up will have a diploma and a lot of teaching material.
The winning bookmarks will be printed and distributed to every school and library users, as well as other cultural centers of the Region of Murcia.
The winning works will become property of the Library.
