The next January 11 begins a new training course for caregivers of dependent people organized by the Department of Social Policy.
Those interested in participating in this course should be directed to make their inclusion in the Red Cross Office, located on Liberty Avenue.
This course is made possible by the agreement signed between the council and the Local Red Cross.
Will last 15 hours and will take place from 11 to 15 January, 17:00 hours to 20:00 hours in the classroom Cajamurcia Culture.
The course work related issues that need to care for dependents, such as feeding, grooming dependent on shower and in bed, small cures, medication, mobilizations and transfers, repositioning, Alzheimer's disease, senile dementia, Parkinson caregiver how to care for himself and face the difficulties of these situations.
From the Department of Social Policy is valued in a particular training of caregivers, as a means of ensuring that "our seniors and dependents receive, within the family, care appropriate to their needs, and as a means of providing caregivers skills and knowledge necessary to perform their functions effectively and at the same time, the care of dependents does not affect your physical health and family welfare, as noted by Councilwoman Mariana Gómez.
The council has planned for next year 2010, such workshops keep signing contracts with the Red Cross, giving a longer response to demand from the very people who have participated in them.
