The Department of Trade of the City of Jumilla, with the Association of Dealers in Jumilla ExpoBoda, has organized the Christmas Decorating Contest II facades and storefronts for residential and commercial.
In this contest, which aims to create a Christmas atmosphere in the city, participants will decorate their facades, windows of your home or business with Christmas, being able to use all kinds of materials such as paint, lights, plants and figures provided where it is not against the rules and manner which does not prevent, annoyance or danger to the free movement of persons.
The decoration will be held on December 22 and continued until January 7, can be seen daily.
Those interested in participating in the contest must register with the Office of Citizen Participation, located in the Artisan's House, by completing the registration form accordingly.
The deadline for entries is on 22 at two in the afternoon.
For the contest, two categories: housing facades and balconies, either single family or community, and displays of hospitality companies and traders.
As for the awards in both categories will win a prize of 300 euros, while the runner up will get 100.
The jury will consist of the mayor of Celebration, the president of Expoboda, a technician of Celebration, a member of the Merchants Association and a specialist in art and decoration.
The components of the jury visit the decorations on 22 days ago, decided on the basis of agreed criteria and take into account only decorations that are visible from the outside.
The decision of the competition will be announced on 24 at midnight in front of Vico Theatre where they will deliver the various awards.
