Jumilla has concluded Campaign for breast cancer prevention, which began last September 16 and in which there have been more than 1600 mammograms.
Throughout this campaign, the Department of Health sent a total of 2097 letters to Jumillano women between 50 and 69 years, of which 1615 were tested and of these, to 605 results are sent to their homes and of these, 21 needed further study.
The campaign was conducted in a mobile unit next to Jumilla Health Center and has led a stake of 81.69%, "a much higher percentage than the average for the Murcia region is at 71.4 %, while the participation rate in the area of Highland Health V was 79.9%, according to information supplied by the council of Health José Luis Monreal.
The cost of this campaign, undertaken by the municipality of Jumilla, has been a total of 1709 euros, including advertising, posters and letters to women.
