A total of fifteen young people have attended a course on 'socio-cultural of the Third Age', organized by the Youth Council through the Local Employment Center, and has recently closed.

The instructor added that the contents have been very practical, with different entertainment activities aimed at the area of older people, both the Social Centre, as the asylum. "
"The first objective of such training courses is cultural, because they will provide many resources for them to propose projects or local authority or private entities, with the intention that these agencies conducting them," said Maria Martinez, who added, "is a figure which may have its acceptance, since there is an accompanying person or task with the greatest care, but the entertainer is the practice leading to the leisure and entertainment with grandparents. "
The course began in early November and lasted for 60 hours.
In terms of content, has taught a module on 'biopsychosocial aspects of aging: aging quality of life, types of disabilities, psychology of aging', another on 'entertainment activities', the third module was on' Techniques animation with elderly, intervention techniques and group dynamics' and the last on 'Maintenance and rehabilitation of older learners'.
The course is subsidized by the city of Jumilla, the Institute of Youth in the Region of Murcia and European Social Fund.
