The Minister of Education, Training and Employment, Constantine Sotoca today opened new facilities Jumilla employment office, which represents an investment of 535,000 euros, which serve a population of 22,500 inhabitants living in the area.
In the opening ceremony was also attended by the mayor of the municipality, Francisco Abellán, and the director general of the Regional Employment Service and Training, Ginés Martínez.
The new facility is located on Columbus Street, 5 and replacing the previous Murcia Avenue.
The units are built on an area of 690 square meters, which are distributed offices, meeting rooms, archives and public service area.
The Minister said the implementation of these new facilities in the interest of the Ministry to improve the service provided to citizens and is part of the modernization plan offices, which have invested almost 9 million euros.
For its part, the mayor welcomed the establishment of facilities that improve service to citizens and highlighted the collaboration of the Ministry of Education, Training and Employment and the City Council in the development of projects to further improve the quality public services and therefore the welfare of citizens.

Job holder explained that this modernization has been an effort to universalize the appointment service in all employment offices, create lists of services, reform and provide material resources to the network of offices and open new offices in Cartagena , Jumilla, Totana and Alhama.
