Jumilla Mayor Francisco Abellán announced the presentation by the Socialist Group in Congress, an initiative to promote and advance the work of a section of highway that will connect with Yecla Jumilla.
This initiative is through an amendment to the general budget.
Abellán is responding to statements made by officials of the Partido Popular de Yecla and Jumilla in which Zapatero demanded the momentum of these works.
The highest authority of Jumilla said that this initiative will ensure that the works in this section can be made while they are being carried out on the stretch of White-Abarán-Jumilla, "this road is to be bonded Fuente la Higuera Blanca and will be a major development for the District of Highlands. Likewise, popular Abellán requires "the same forcefulness to claim Valcárcel fulfill its commitments, signed with the Ministry of Development in 2007 and build the highway that corresponds from Venta del Olivo to Jumilla.
