The City of Jumilla, represented by Mayor Francisco Abellán, has signed a collaboration agreement with the local board of Jumilla in the Spanish Association Against Cancer, represented by its President, María Josefa Calvo Ladrón de Guevara.
The formalization of this agreement took place last week and one of its objectives is the transfer by the municipality, a local for this group situated at Calle Barón del Solar s / n.
The assignment of use will be precarious, so the local authority agrees to take over the labor and costs, as well as electrification materials, doors, metal structural materials and put the sidewalk outside.
For its part, the association will provide other necessary materials and workmanship of paint, furniture and fixtures and toilets, among others.
The Mayor welcomes this agreement, whose purpose is to "continue to provide associations and groups that work for the interest Jumilla and in this case for a cause as noble as the fight against cancer, having a site which work in perfect condition and offer a quality service to people who use them. "
This agreement is argued that the Spanish Association against Cancer is a private social organization, nonprofit, and an important social interests that serves people with cancer, like family, as well as the general population in areas such as prevention, early detection of cancer, help care, palliative care and information services.
In contribution to this partnership and addressing the important functions carried out in the town's why you sign this agreement.
