Jumillano the hamlet of Fuente del Pino welcomes this Saturday October 24, celebrating the Second Conference on "Rural women in the districts of Jumilla.
This activity has been presented by the Women Fuensanta Councilman Oliver Thomas and Concepcion headman.
Both invited all citizens to attend and participate in the conference.
Fuensanta Olivares thanked the parish welcoming this initiative that began last year in the hamlet of Las Encebras.
"On that occasion, attended by about 120 people and the experience was very positive, rewarding and enriching as with this type of activities women leave the home and working environments that are in each of the districts," said Olivares.
In addition, he said, "These days women used to meet, exchange experiences and information, to propose new entertainment and educational activities and discover the gaps that still exist in rural areas."
Women Councilwoman added that "October 15 is celebrated worldwide on rural women's day, so the council, being partakers of the boom so important that rural women's groups are having in Jumilla, we have organized the second edition of this conference. "
For his part, Thomas Concepcion stressed the great response on the part of neighbors, for organizing this activity.
The event will take place in the building of the old schools.
At ten o'clock there will be a chocolate and reception of the participants.
The following documentation will be given as scheduled at eleven official opening of the conference by the Mayor of Jumilla Francisco Abellán, and Councilwoman Women's Fuensanta Olivares.
At 11:15 am and will begin filing papers, in which intervene the World Confederation of Rural Women (Ceres) and the Women's Water and Earth, the Federation of Rural Women FADEMUR and Ademur La Jara, and the Federation for Women and Families in Rural Areas Amfar.
Then begin the round table entitled: "Experiences of women in the villages of Jumilla, on experiences and discuss the activities of rural women's associations or municipalities, such as La Torre del Rico, La Fuente del Pino, Las Encebras and the Association Soil and Water Jumilla.
