Thursday October 22 at 19:30 hours, will be held an information event in the hall of the City Council to report on the collection of signatures in support and defense of the Tajo-Segura.
The event will have invited different groups, associations, organizations, political parties, media and general public, as reported by the Councillor for Economy Jesus Sanchez added that the goal is "to report on actions to be performed in Tajo Segura defense and their exploitation, in the sense that the continued contributions of water make this area and the southeast of Spain. "

In this regard, remember that recently in the Murcia Region has launched a campaign to collect signatures to get the Spanish Parliament approved a law that the state guarantees the continuity of the Tajo-Segura use.
Jumilla City Council also joined the campaign, by agreement of the three political parties represented in municipal, PSOE, IU-LV and PP.
This request to the courts is to be realized through a bill submitted by popular initiative for the reform of the law 10/2001, of July 5 and the law 11/2005 of 22 June, in relation to the Tajo- Segura and his achievement, which is carried out through collection of signatures of citizens.
On the procedure will be reported at this meeting.
