The Board of Directors of the Central Board of the Brotherhood of Holy Week in Jumilla presented at the Twenty Second National Meeting of Brotherhoods of Passion of Holy Week, held in Ciudad Real, projects that will develop on the occasion of its 600th anniversary, according to a release of this group.
In this event, attended by the Councillor for Culture and Tourism Juana Guardiola, JCHSS president and several executives, set up a small stand which distributed nearly 500 bags of Jumilla, consisting of a brochure with all projects and activities to be undertaken between the years 2009 to 2011, during the 600 years celebration of Easter in Jumilla, a book of our Holy Week 2009, a promotional DVD for 600 years and various tourist brochures and their guilds Jumilla .
The conference was held for four days recently and have conducted various presentations and roundtable sessions to discuss issues of various Holy Week in Spain.
One of these acts took place on Saturday with the presentation to more than 500 congressmen, on activities that are planned for in Jumilla, to commemorate this anniversary.
In this presentation, the Central Board President José Carrión gave a general overview of all planned events, and invited attendees to visit Jumilla and attend any of those acts.
He then took the floor to Councilman Juan Guardiola expressed institutional support such celebrations, "which he said that Jumilla has proudly become one of the oldest Holy Week in Spain."
To close the event was presented on DVD, for that purpose conducted the Central Board of the Brotherhood and has already performed in Jumilla last Easter.
