The council's Department of Cooperation of the City of Jumilla and NGOs in Action Fire, are launching a campaign to collect cleaning material for the Project El Salvador 2009, conducted by the NGO and is financed by the said council, has confirmed its head Mariana Gómez.
Thus, through this campaign, citizens are asked to basic cleaning supplies such as gel, shampoo, tissues, body milk and diapers (both children and adults), to be delivered at the Center for Social Services, located in Calle Ramón y Cajal, No. 8, until 16 October from 10:00 to 14:00.
This material will go to the Orphanage Vito Guarato that complies with orphaned children who have disabilities such as cerebral palsy, hydrocephalus and Down syndrome, as well as the nursing Sara Zalvide, which caters to elderly homeless and other agencies and institutions in El Salvador .
Mariana Gomez recalled as "the centers said, the past year, the most pressing need, besides food, is the power available materials for the toilet, as it is doing exclusively with water, and for them is priority children and elderly have good hygiene to prevent infection and ulceration. "
