Several competitions have been starring the grapes and in particular the variety Monastrell, Jumilla queen.
New this year has been organized by the Rock the ditch on 'Launch Uva Monastrell', but have also been held on the Monastrell grape and pisaores.
In the Competition Guidelines I Uva Monastrell involving about a hundred pitchers and the winner was Emily Smith, second place went to Alvaro Lozano and Francisco de Paula Gregorio third in the men.

Finally, organized by the Peña Amigos del Campo, was held Pisaores X Grape Championship, held at the Paseo Poet Lorenzo Guardiola.
Established several categories: children, male and female.
In this championship was due to step 50 kilos of grapes and win should get the most juice possible in 3 minutes, using only their feet.
The best female partner was composed by Consuelo Estrella and Maria Terol who managed nearly 18 liters.
In the men, Francisco Pérez and García Ginés got 21 liters and child Coloma and Paula Beatriz López García Palao obtained 12 liters.
Seniors and Children harvests them also participated in the grape stomping, but not competed in the championship.
