On Friday 14 August, took place the traditional offering of flowers to Our Lady of the Assumption, which involved hundreds of people.
In this act, which pays homage to the patron saint of Jumilla, participated authorities, representatives of groups, associations, districts and Jumillano and Jumillano in general.
The parade was opened by the group of Songs and Dances Francisco Salzillo of Jumilla, who played several dances along the route.
Participants brought flowers to the patron saint of fair these days are in the parish church of Santiago.
Participated in the offering, among other groups, the villages of Las Encebras, La Alqueria, the Fuente del Pino and La Torre del Rico, the Peña Flamenca Golden Grape, numerous clubs, neighborhood associations neighborhood of San Fermin, neighborhood San Juan, barrio de San Antón, the Old Town and the road to Calvary, among others.
Also paraded representatives of the Federation of Clubs, the Association of Moros y Cristianos Don Pedro I and the group organizing the Brotherhood of Our Lady Our Lady of the Assumption.
The parade crossed the street Canovas del Castillo, to stay on Plaza de la Constitution, Castelar and Salvador Pérez de los Cobos up to the Plaza de Arriba and south gate of the Church of Santiago.
