Recently there have been renewed every Classroom computers Free Internet Access, ALA, from Jumilla.
After the improvement of facilities, the classroom has reopened to the public and attended by the Mayor this reopening Francisco Abellán and New Technologies Councilman Jesus Sanchez.
Francisco Abellán said that this is a classroom that can be used free of charge and with the aim of providing a service to the population.
The Mayor reported on the improvements made in facilities and computer systems, "which have been completely upgraded and refurbished and what was gained in comfort and effectiveness," the highest local authority.
The upgrading works were awarded to the company BEEP Jumillano Juminfor SL.
It has installed a server, 19 seats open access fixed gear and 6 positions wifi access.
All have the right furniture has also been expanded and the computers also have internet access with ADSL and webcam.
It has also installed a projector screen and whiteboard to improve the quality of equipment in the training courses organized by the City Council and the various groups that make use of the ALA.
These studies were made possible by a grant requested by the City to the Fund for Local Cooperation, under the Ministry of the Presidency, where the total amounts to 26,058 euros, of which local government has provided 1,110 euros.
New Technologies Councilman Jesus Sanchez added that these computer systems are subject to rules that ensure the proper use of the Internet.
Sanchez noted that the average utilization of this service is 3,200 users per year, "a figure that is growing year after year."
The ALA's opening hours are Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 13:00 am and 17:00 to 20:00 in the afternoon, although the schedule is affected by the delivery of courses.
