The fraud consisted of non-payment of dues, simulation relations and improper collection of benefits
The Delegation of the Government informed of the investigation conducted by the Inspectorate of Labour and Social Security of Murcia in the field of Construction industry in the town of Jumilla, which has managed to uncover the fraud carried out by a network of 25 companies for unpaid fees, simulation relations and improper collection of benefits.
The results of this investigation were forwarded to the prosecutor for the commission of the alleged offenses punishable insolvency, forgery, fraud and against Social Security.
In the course of police action has proceeded to the arrest of four of the architects of the fraud business.
The performance has highlighted the abusive and fraudulent use of corporate legal forms in the hope of obtaining the dispersion or evasion of work responsibilities, as these companies had discovered in the payment of fees from the moment of its creation and the succeeded one another based on the known regime of "non-transparent changes."
These fraudulent companies held this situation for several months, after which there were no activity or no workers and the latter transferred to a new company where they practiced the same fraud.
In front of them were placed "straw buyers" to conceal the true personality of the owners.
The Labour Inspectorate also able to detect non-payment of dues had 212 cases of simulation of industrial relations in order to improperly obtain and enjoy unemployment benefits.
In 76 cases analyzed so far materialized such fraud as financial estimate would be around € 7,659,522.35.
