"Knowing the wine through art" is the suggestive title of a course at the Universidad Internacional del Mar to be held in the chapel of San José de Jumilla during the week of 20 to 24 July.
The initiative aims to deepen the various cultural performances as a nexus of wine, food in ancient Mediterranean culture.
This is a new course, since it does not focus on a specific art movement, but it came as the nexus of civiliazaciones over time, approaching art forms as diverse as architecture, painting, archeology, museums, cultural promotion opportunity offered by the wineries and to Manga comics, all in their relationship with the world of wine.
The initiative also offers those who take the course the possibility of knowing the wine and the world around him through processors from several points of regional and national geography and the tasting of wines from various wineries Jumillano.
The course is run by Rosa María Canovas Gonzalez and Oscar Lopez Olmos, and involves faculty from the University of Murcia and Elche, winemakers, museum directors, responsible for the Spanish Association of Wine Cities and artists.
It consists of 30 hours and those involved in it will get three free credits.
The registration period is open until July 13.
