This statement will be discussed at the next Local Board and the agreement will be forwarded to the parliamentary groups of the Regional Assembly, the Press Association of the Region of Murcia, the Ombudsman of the Region of Murcia, and few agencies or institutions considered appropriate
The team Jumilla government has issued a press release in which "defend the plurality of information and the work of workers and professionals as well as a fair deal for their municipality."
The communiqué also denounced "the information clearly discriminatory treatment issues related to our municipality and its citizens."
At the hearing of the press have been present most of the government team members, except one for work.
The government team spokesman, Jesus Sanchez has excused absence of Mayor Francisco Abellán "when in the Senate."
Sanchez has also reported that this issue be addressed in the Local Government Board and the agreement will be forwarded to the parliamentary groups of the Regional Assembly, the Press Association of the Region of Murcia, the Ombudsman of the Region of Murcia, and to those agencies or institutions "consider of interest."
The above statement reads as follows:
"The team made the following Local Government in relation to TV news coverage of the Autonomous" 7 Region de Murcia "in this county:
1 .- publicly denounce the treatment information that we understand clearly discriminatory issues with our municipality and its citizens.
2 .- Proof of this is the failure to attend significant events and important regional and national information, serving as an example of the weekend: XXX delivery Jumilla City Literary Award (involving the writer Vicente Molina Foix ), or delivery of the gold badge of the Wine Route Jumillano composer Roque Baños (won several Goya Awards) in the cycle Music Among Wine 2009.
3 .- These events, as well as many others of great importance for our town, have always been freely taken notice and have decided which information and what not.
Like who to interview and who not.
4 .- Jumilla citizens deserve respect and media attention by a media that is public.
We are not talking about private companies.
"7 Murcia Region is a regional public television, paid taxes of Murcia, Jumilla, our town is in Murcia, and also pays taxes to the region.
