Broadcasting note sent by the Region of Murcia:
Jumilla City Council, through its Head of Press and instructions from the mayor and senator, socialist Francisco Abellán Martínez, drove this morning to the team of 7 Murcia Region of the press conference which had come saying 'gap' treatment information received by the municipality from the regional television.
On Sunday, the Mayor's Press Chief had been in contact with the correspondent of The 7 in the area, Patricia Azorín, to express its veto on regional television to warn that their presence would not be well received in the Town Hall and that, if produced, would have to ask him to leave the premises.
That was precisely what happened this morning, at what the rest of the media present accompanied the team of 7 Murcia to the streets in protest.
Throughout the morning the Director General of Radio Television of Murcia, Juan Manuel Máiquez Estévez, tried to communicate with the Mayor of Jumilla to clarify what happened.
The City Council responded to these requests with a terse e-mail in which, in addition to reiterating his dissatisfaction with the treatment of information that La 7 exempting the municipality and confirm that the City has applied this same procedure to veto other means, communicated to Broadcasting Director General of the Region of Murcia, for reasons of agenda, the Mayor could not hold a phone conversation with him until after the 25th of May.
