The Association for the Protection and Defense of Animals and Plants "4 Legs Jumilla" calls for recruiting volunteers who want to practice and are willing to be foster families for dogs and cats, especially puppies and injured animals that roam abandoned around the city waiting for a better future
A few weeks ago, the Association of 4 Legs Jumilla "decided to start a new campaign to recruit volunteers to participate with the organization being shelters for the animals that live on the streets until they find a permanent home where they are adopted, a new campaign that arises because of the large number of abandoned puppies and / or parents street and the lack of places and sites where to keep protected animals waiting to get them a stable home where they receive all the love they deserve.
"We understand that welcome an abandoned animal may raise doubts, however, returned more than love and time spent on them.
We look for people that choose to offer their limited time and home care for these animals until they find the association a permanent home.
In terms of housing or land that is available to the person or family who will foster home, we can adjust your request to animals, so of course, time.
In fact, they can make themselves the time period that can handle the animal, ie one week, two, one month ...
And also, volunteers or foster homes may choose to care for dogs or cats, male or female, to his knowledge or bias, "have indicated from the association, from where they have added that they will be responsible for answering questions, and for managing care to safeguard these animals, and those interested should contact the shelter by calling 625 98 76 62 or sending an email to protectorajumilla@gmail.com.
"This time do not cease to appear, especially puppies abandoned, some with just a week, and we need foster homes because the homes and voluntary homes are saturated, and although the work of Shelter Animal Jumilla just starting, we can not allow some animals are on the street.
In addition, many of these puppies or injured animals need just a temporary home while the volunteers of the association will seek a permanent home, protecting the time of the violations, malnutrition, abuse and, in the worst case of his murder, "added from" 4 Paws Jumilla.
On the other hand, the association has managed to adopt about 150 animals in the past eight months, a figure very important if we consider that in the province of Albacete in the period of one year was made 300 adoptions.
Also, thanks to an agreement that the organization has with MRW Pets, animals have been adopted in cities like Barcelona, Madrid, Burgos, Valencia, Malaga, and so on.
