This Friday, gave the City Literary Prize XXX Jumilla, in two categories, Short Story and Verse.
Around this award is developing a week of activities culminating in the ceremony.
On the eleventh day opened the exhibition "The Legacy of paper ', which will be open until 15 May in the classroom culture of CAM.
They also featured the winning entries of previous years 'Crossroads' and the poetry collection "Songs for rainy afternoons."
This event was attended by the authors of the works Amparo Garcia and Pedro Javier Martínez.
Of these works, the council has published 800 copies for distribution.
On Wednesday 13 May, developed an act tribute to Antonio Machado, coinciding with the 70th anniversary of his death.
Thus, José Martínez Giménez, delegate of the International Foundation Antonio Machado, gave a lecture.
The event presented a copy of 'Night Travel by sea', written by the speaker.
In collaboration with Cine Club Home, Thursday May 14 in the CAM and 20:00 pm showing of the film "The Class" by Laurent Cantet, Oscar-nominated 2009 Palme d'Or at Cannes.
The ceremony for the XXX Jumilla City Literary Award is Friday 15 May at 20.30 pm in Wine Carche Finance, with the intervention of President Vicente Molina Foix jury.
The winner in the Short Novel receive a cash prize of 6,000 euros and in Verse, the winner gets a prize of 2,000 euros.
Both papers will be published by the Department of Culture.
In this call there have been a total of three hundred seven works.
This is more than double those made in the last edition.
Of these, 95 correspond to the Short Story mode and 212 in the form of Verso.
The works come from almost all Spanish regions, as well as other countries such as Argentina, France, Mexico, United States, Germany, Chile, Italy and Israel.
The jury of this edition will be chaired by writer Vicente Molina Foix who accompany Ana Ortiz Fernandez, Mary Bledsoe Gilar, Juan Castellanos Gómez, Tomás Carrión Evaristo, and as Secretary, José Luis González Olivares.
Currently, the City of Jumilla Literary Award is a prestigious invitation and this is reflected in people who have held the presidency of the jury, including Pedro Lain Entralgo, Luis Carandell, Tico Medina, Rosa Regás, Carmen Posadas Carcedo Diego, Ramon Almeda, Francisco Javier Díez de Revenga, Joaquin Leguina or Angels case.
