Today has started a Vocational Training Course for Child Care, organized by the Department of Social Policy of the City Council within the Reception and Integration Program for Immigrants.
It is attended by a total of nineteen people.
The course is prolonged until 27 May and is being developed at the Center for Women located in Granary Street.
It consists of 40 hours, with 12 sessions of three hours and four hours.
Is being conducted by psychologist Felipe González and develops Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 9:30 to 12:30 hours.
Mariana Gómez, Councillor for Social Policy reports that "the course is to equip participants of the basic skills for caring for children, in terms of food, hygiene, stimulation, etc, to open their field of work in a area is booming as child care. "
"Since the council was quoted aims to maintain this kind of job training as they are another means of social integration," said Gomez.
