The Department of Culture of the City of Jumilla has organized an activity to commemorate the Day of Monuments and Sites.
On the occasion of this celebration will be held a tour of the Iberian settlement of Coimbra del Barranco Ancho.
This day is celebrated on Saturday April 18 from 10:00 to 0:00 and the visit is open to all who want to move there and the media to provide transportation to all citizens the importance of historic site, as reported by the councilman of Culture Joan Guardiola.
In Coimbra del Barranco Ancho, the directors of the excavations, José Miguel García Cano and Emiliano Hernández Carrión explained the restoration and consolidation that have taken place both in the sanctuary and in the village cemetery.
It is the second time this day commemorates Jumilla.
Last year was the Cason.
All day the tomb was open and Emiliano Hernandez was also explaining the significance of this monument.
In addition, visitors had the opportunity to see inside, because usually the Cason is closed and only you can see outside.
