One of the most striking processions of Holy Week Jumillano is the Holy Tuesday, also known as the Procession of Silence.
Despite the rain that fell in the afternoon, the procession went and visited some of the oldest and most emblematic streets of the town.
In this procession, led by the Holy Christ of Life and the image of Our Lady of Hope, took part in many penitents.
The procession began at 12:00 pm, after the conclusion of Penitence in the parish church of Santiago.
From there, the silence flooded the streets with only the light provided by fires set up along the route.
The Silent procession left the church of Santiago, South Gate circling the atrium, to continue through the north door, Lucerne, Santa Maria, Cuesta del Cura, Santiago, Plaza Arriba, Salvador Pérez de los Cobos, San Roque, Constitution Square (turning around), Labor, Canalejas, Bitterness, Calvary Cabecico Square, heading, crossing Bitterness, First District, Crossing Cruces, Cruces and Miguel Trigueros ending in the parish church of Santiago.
