The weather was good for the celebration of Palm Sunday in Jumilla which led to the showcasing of this traditional procession of the Palms.
It is a singular procession, which represents the figure of Jesus, standing on the Burrica, accompanied by the apostles and a group of children dressed as Jews.
During the procession, Jesus is reciting the prophecy about the destruction of Jerusalem.
The procession was witnessed by thousands who came to enjoy this show so unique.
The tour began at the Church of San Juan and walked the streets Pius XII, Square Rollo, Cánovas, Plaza de la Constitution, Castelar, Santa Maria and Lucerne, finishing in the parish of Santiago.
The procession was led by the Mayor of Jumilla Francisco Abellán, the pastor of the Church of San Juan and Central Board of the Brotherhood as a whole.
