Jumilla Mayor Francisco Abellán Martinez signed the decree proposing the appointment as a Favorite Son of the Municipality of Jumilla Roque Baños López.
Since then there have been numerous accessions to the file, received from different sectors of the population, governments, institutions, groups, organizations, companies and media.
The granting of this distinction, based on their professional and personal merits, was approved in committee report of 14 October, unanimously, in full for the month of October.
