Jumilla has welcomed the holding of technical seminars on "Adequacy of EMAS for the wine industry in the Region of Murcia and support for its application."
The presentation ceremony was attended by the Mayor of Jumilla Francisco Abellán and general director of Planning, Evaluation and Environmental Control Francisco José Espejo
At the conference attended by growers in the Designation of Origin (DO) of Jumilla and Yecla, winemakers and entrepreneurs, and various political leaders in both cities.

There are currently 18 companies in the Region of Murcia EMAS registered in the registry belonging to different sectors: tourism accommodation, services, laboratories, consulting and agribusiness, among others.
