Jumilla City Council has signed a collaboration agreement with the Red Cross for coverage of sports.
This has been submitted to the public by the Mayor of Jumilla and Councilman Francisco Abellán José Luis Monreal Sports.
The event was present Jumilla Red Cross coordinator Guardiola Luciano.
This is a collaboration agreement signed between both institutions to carry out the intervention program and emergency relief (preventive services) in the events organized by the Sports Department.
Abellán said the signing of this agreement is an important objective for both institutions because it "guarantees the presence of the EMTs, volunteers and staff providing healthcare in a time of emergency, all organized sports events the Department of Sports. "
Jumilla Mayor also thanked the Red Cross is always available to work with the council.
For his part, Councillor for Sports said that the agreement is "the result of work being developed throughout the year and is completing now."
Monreal added that "another objective of the Department of Sports is to increase safety and prevention in sport, as it adds to the installation of defibrillators at the Municipal Sports Pavilion and the Sports City of La Hoya."
Finally, the Red Cross coordinator said "the strength of the Red Cross, will not only be present in activities that are performed annually, if not every weekend that used four hours for the other events, with priority always more public. "
