For the first time, the Department of Sports City of Jumilla has been rewarded for their work.
The award was granted by the Triathlon Federation of Murcia and the 'advocacy' of this council.
As indicated by the Councillor for Sports José Luis Monreal "is a recognition of the support of Sport Base in general and, above all, the Triathlon, as this year made the regional finals of the sport in our town."
José Luis Monreal added that "this sport has been substantially improved with the collaboration of Jumilla Triathlon Club."
Lastly, he expressed his "satisfaction with this award, since it is the culmination of the work of technicians and monitors all of the council."
As reflected in the website of the Regional Triathlon Federation, have also been awarded other athletes, individually and in various categories, belonging to the Triathlon Club Jumilla.
It is Jesus Gallego Martínez, Aitor Jimenez Poveda, Lencina Angel Alonso, Vicente Calabuig Martínez, José Bernabeu Lozano and Jose Antonio Espinosa Pérez.
The ceremony for the awards will take place on November 29th, from 20:30 pm in the Eagles Hotel Calarreal.
