Jumilla Mayor Francisco Abellán yesterday held a meeting with the Minister of Health of the Autonomous Region of Murcia María Ángeles Palacios.
The main objective of this meeting has been talking about the future Comprehensive Health Center will be built in the township.
As reported Abellán "this center will not be finished before the end of the current legislature, not to meet regional government spending 2008 to develop the project."
The mayor has said that "although the city of Jumilla has completed all formalities for the transfer of the land, the Ministry of Health has not developed the project, which it conducted in 2009 and begin to build in 2,010 ".
Thus, according to the time table for implementation in this type of construction that is about 24 months, "this health center will not be completed before the end of this legislature," said Abellán.
The land donated by the city of Jumilla is located in sector R-6, or known as the Parque de las Avenidas, with an area of 10,000 square meters, of which 8,000 are for the building and the 2,000 remaining extensions and zones parking.
The efforts of the current government for the construction of Comprehensive Health Center, which will have similar services to a small hospital, started in 2003.
