The mayor said that "the actions being carried out by the municipality in terms of social policy issues are to exhaust all lines of municipal budgets for 2008, since it was a large budget and committed to the elderly with dependent persons and those needing the help of local administration. "
He stressed that "the home support being provided beneficiaries covers more than last year, the Social Services staff has increased and soon will launch the shuttle."
According to Mariana Gomez said, the intent of these agreements is to "keep these workers because their work is demanded by users and provides them with a care that result in improved quality of life."
With respect to these conventions, one of them is recruiting an experienced Social Services support, specifically a Graduate Social economic area, so it manages grants, applications, execution control, financial control and justification of aid.

This agreement is a cash prize of 27,000 euros.
The second agreement, worth 59,000 euros, is aimed at promoting personal autonomy and psychological and through this agreement has hired two technicians, a physiotherapist and a psychologist to develop its activities within the program for the elderly and dependent.
As stated by the councilman of Social Policy "the therapist perform gymnastics, both active and passive users of home help and people categorized as high-dependency."
Also will support carers and service professionals to work with the postural hygiene in order to prevent injuries.
