This past weekend saw the LV Assembly of the Spanish Conference of Local Study Centres (CECEL).
One of the activities on the agenda was a visit to Jumilla.
In our city were in Bodega 'Carche Finance', in the Archaeological Museum and were also received by the Mayor of Jumilla and authorities in the Plenary Hall of the City Council.
This meeting was attended by hundreds of people from different Spanish institutions and over four days carried out various activities in Molina del Segura, Cartagena and Murcia.
In the act of reception, chaired by Francisco Abellán, attended several town government team and the PP, as well as a representative of the Regulatory Council of the DO Jumilla, the director of the Academia Alfonso X El Sabio de Murcia, and Francisco Calvo Tornel President of CECEL Angeles Madrid.
Francisco Abellán welcomed attendees and hope that "tell a lot about the city and have that right."
For its part Angeles Madrid, also director of the Center for Local Castilla La Mancha thanked the hospitality with which they were received in our town.
In the course of the event was exchanged several memories to record the passage of all academic and Jumilla.
The members of this confederation are people who are dedicated to spreading the Cultural Heritage, Ethnography and Natural Sciences areas where they reside.
