The councilman of Health of the municipality of Jumilla José Luis Monreal had a meeting with the coordinator of Nursing Health Center Jumilla, Antonia Riquelme in order to discuss the start of the vaccination campaign against influenza.
The coordinator informed the mayor of Health that the onset of influenza vaccination campaign will start on October 1 and runs until 15 December.
The council has said it is important to go to the Health Center to make an appointment, "Vaccines will be made according to the coordinator, in the afternoon," said Monreal.
He also stressed that the vaccine should be those who are in risk groups, ie, respiratory diseases and all persons over 60 years, mainly as a precautionary measure "because it is demonstrated its effectiveness. "
Monreal also reported that in October will hold a meeting with the new coordinator of the Health Center and the coordinator of Nursing to treat a local health issues.
