Jumilla Local Police have arrested two people suspected of a crime of theft and force things attempted.
The detainees apparently were criminals known to the security forces because they have criminal records.
This arrest was the result of intensified surveillance operations, by the local police in the camps and rural areas of Jumilla.
In recent weeks there was a spate of robberies in various parts of the town of Jumilla, mainly in rural areas and fields.
For this reason, responsible for the City (including Councillor for Agriculture Jesus Sanchez and Councilman Primitivo González Public Safety) and the local police held a meeting with representatives of the agricultural unions (COAG, UPA and BDA), the president of the Regional Chamber of Agriculture and representatives of Bodegas San Isidro, who denounced this situation.
The representatives of farmers showed that "there have been numerous complaints filed in the Civil Guard in this regard and that most criminal acts were committed in the terms above."
In most cases the facts and the stolen items were the same: pick locks and garages with different tools, theft of metals such as tools, power lines, pipes, window frames, tractor parts and removal of oil.
Result of the meeting, the local police Jumilla, through its Unit for the Environment and Public Safety Patrol, intensified police operations, in coordination with the Civil Guard.
These actions have resulted in the arrest of those people.
One detainee meets the GMH initial 40 years of age and another 28 years and whose initials are JFMO, both from Cieza.
After receiving a call from a neighbor concerned and after making the necessary monitoring and verifications these alleged thieves were arrested on Saturday 13 September.
They were inside a vehicle where they seized various tools such as screwdrivers, knives and flashlight, among others, as well as several old bills.
The detainees were taken to Civil Guard headquarters and brought to justice.
