In late October, could open new facilities that will house the Youth Services area of the City of Jumilla.
This consists of facilities located in local, municipal property, situated in the garden of King Don Pedro, with an approximate area of 200 square meters.
In these new offices would be those services Youth Report, Housing, Youth and Employment, served by three technicians currently working in these areas.
Mayor Francisco Abellán has expressed interest in "open these facilities, which were the subject of exchange, among other buildings and works, the old school San Francisco."
The maximum local authority added that "these units will save the council and allow rentals have more space available to provide public services."
For his part, Councillor for Youth and Sports, José Luis Monreal believes that "this is good news and a major gamble, as this will only lead to unify all these services in one place and in a central location of easily accessible and perfectly located for the youth population. "
This place has several units, including four offices, boardroom, meeting room, entrance hall and office for the councilor in charge.
The building has been renovated with city funds and local government workers, particularly in the area of services, except the work of installation of air conditioning that makes an external company.
The total cost of these works is € 90,000.
This amount is in addition a grant of € 20,000 which granted the Department of Youth of the region and that it is for furniture and computer equipment.
The forecasts are that these units will open in late October, "because the works are the pace and on schedule," stated the councilman of Youth and Sports.
The refurbishment of the premises began in May and during these months have carried out the masonry, partitions and electricity.
In September we will start with painting, carpentry, front view, glass and exterior signage.
