Jumilla youth Skate fans already have a track for this sport.
The facility is located on the Paseo de Ronda Poniente and has been recently opened by Mayor Francisco Abellán, Councilman Jose Luis Monreal Sports and Services mayor Antonio Martínez.
The mayor said "is now available to all young people this track, for all those who have a habit of practicing with the skateboard, without damaging the furniture."
Abellán added that he intends to "protect this track with a roof and lighting at night the track, pay special attention to police surveillance."
For his part, Councillor for Sports talked about the budget to carry out this track that has been of 29,000 euros.
He also said that "it is a perfectly designed and approved track and which also has failed to avail the existing building after the rehabilitation of the area."
José Luis Monreal recalled that "this initiative came from the concerns of a large group of young people who contacted us and took their love of Skak and skating."
The mayor of Sports said it is intended that this place is "a sports site and hope you will respect these facilities because they have become very excited."
Finally, Francisco Abellán said "this area will be the airing of healthy leisure district of San Antón and which will continue to conduct proceedings, in fact already thought about doing a kiosk, or from work or wood, to put out to tender, make a concession and managed as happens in other areas of Jumilla "he said.
