Recently, the Councillor for Education Fuensanta Olivares, along with technical Rita González, presented the next workshops will be taught in the People's University.
A total of seventeen activities and will develop during the first quarter of 2008/2009, in the months October, November, December and January.
A new feature is a workshop of Floral Art, Laughter Therapy and Patchwork.
The latter is by Ana José Lucas, and is about bringing scraps of fabric to create clothing from home and learn how to reuse all fabrics to make quilts, tapestries, cushions and many useful and decorative objects.
In addition to these developments, there will be activities Rolls, whose instructor is Anne Lucas José Abellán, Ceramics, with a new monitor Francisco Jimenez, Simon Cosmetics, dressmaking with instructors Ana María Cascales, Alicia Garcia and Sebastiana Fernandez, Dance Therapy; Drawing , Painting and Restoration with Miñano Peace monitors; Crafts by Asunción Fernández, Painting on Canvas, Enhancing memory; workmanship of Pascuala Soriano's hand, relaxation and stress management; Upholstered furniture and theater that will be led by Francisco Tomás Abellán "The Beautiful."
The registration period is from Sept. 1 until full squares and those interested should contact the Department of Education (Casa de la Cultura, Avenida Reyes Católicos) from 10 am to 13 pm
The course duration is 4 hours weekly, except the theater to be 2 hours per week with a corresponding reduction in the rate.
The amount of the courses is 30 euros.
Fuensanta Olivares thanked in this presentation "collaboration made by the company Local Initiatives in implementation of these workshops during the past year."
He highlighted the great efforts of the "Education service technician to implement all the activities offered and the improvements in this service."
For its part Rita González encouraged to participate in these courses and noted that "the experience of other courses, almost everyone involved, repeated activity."
