From the Centre of Social Services Jumilla, through the Councillor responsible Mariana Gomez, public warning about a possible scam that is occurring.
Apparently some guy posing as Social Services staff to visit homes and solicit private information to tenants with the aim, they say, to handle the benefits of Law Unit.
According to Mariana Gomez said "this has happened on several occasions, and apparently entered the house and call for data on pension cards, identity card number, etc.."
Responsible for Social Policy at City Hall said that "all personnel of Social Services Jumilla is identified and we have also consulted with the IMAS (Instituto Murciano Social Action) and have also sent technicians to any steps or proceedings in the town ".
From Social Services recommended to the population where any person in the households requesting any personal information required to identify themselves and with any questions may inquire at the Centre of Social Services.
