Within the program for the Promotion of Women's Health organized by the Department of Women, last week held a talk-brown with the title 'cervical cancer and vaccination. "
The talk was given by Dr Primary Care Health Center Maria José Santos and there were more than a hundred women.
All of them showed great interest in the subject and posed various questions to the speaker.
After the talk, Women Councilwoman Fuensanta Olivares, accompanied by technical Ruiz Paqui Equality, welcomed the cooperation of the doctor and gave him a bouquet of flowers.
The program for the Promotion of Women's Health is conducting four lectures-specific coffee for three months, which will be discussed various current issues of interest to women.
The next talk will be in September and the topic is "women's mental health" which act as rapporteur for the psychiatrist Francisco Pérez Crespo.
Back in October, the theme is "Birth control" with the intervention of the matron's Health Center Juan Carlos Ortega Román Jumilla and to end this cycle, there will be a presentation on "How to act in a domestic accident" with assistance from Mari Carmen Santos Cutillas, Catalina Olivares and Maria Isabel Bernal Cortés Martínez, nurses, health center of town.
The purpose of this health program for women is to know the health status of women and to clarify, so close, all doubts about topics that are topical in women as cervical cancer and mental health.
This area, women's health is included within the Municipal Plan of Equality.
