For his part, Howard said that "the most interesting fact in this book are the illustrations, which seeks, in summary form, showing the history of the city."
The book includes illustrations very new, and the distribution of land distribution among the Roman legionaries in Jumilla, a section of the Castle, or the reconstruction of Coimbra del Barranco Ancho, among others.
From 'Illustrated History of Jumilla' thousand copies have been printed to be distributed to schools and colleges for their libraries and through the Public Library.
Pedro Hurtado is an artist illustrator from Aguilas, which is dedicated to produce publications on the history of nations, with great cartoons, very decorated and very colorful.
As for the "Illustrated History of Jumilla 'is a publication, in which Pedro Hurtado has developed both the pictures and texts, all reviewed from the Department of Culture.
Contains 36 pages with 18 illustrations ranging from traces of the Hoya de la Sima until today, even plants reflect solar and wind energy, through the parties, by the Iberian and Roman world.
The presentation took place at the Archaeological Museum "Jerónimo Molina" to the Plaza de Arriba.
This is an activity organized by the Department of Culture, whose request was also made more than a year ago.
