The Department of Traffic and Local Police Jumilla have developed a project to remodel the traffic in the Barrio de San Juan.
The objective of this project, agreed with the Neighborhood Association, is to decongest traffic in this area of the municipality.
This project has been presented recently by the Councillor of Traffic Primitivo Gonzalez, Police Chief Luis Antonio Local Mula and the president of the AA.VV.

The revamp aims at converting traffic of numerous streets in the neighborhood in one way, "allowing for greater fluidity and more convenient parking," said Gonzalez.
For example, Ortega y Gasset Street will only exit onto Avenue de Yecla, Hernando de Nuño Street to the south and San Jose Avenue entrance only.
This change also affects several main streets of the town, like Cánovas and Calvary.
In this way, is to change the direction of the Teatro Canovas to Vico and is input.
For its part Calvary Street also changed direction from Martin Avenue Yecla Guardiola up and becomes output.
Primitivo Gonzalez said that the renovations, which will begin in July, "is the product of several meetings with the neighborhood association and other groups."
The councilman said to be a campaign to inform citizens about the changes to be made.
For its part, the Chief noted that "these changes are also intended to prevent accidents and improve traffic."
