The president stressed that the partnership wanted to ensure compliance with the municipal ordinance and that if an animal has a microchip only after making the campaign is already a success because it ensures that prevent the suffering of an animal is not worth 30 euros and all cost of the whole campaign.
The realization of this has been possible through the cooperation of local media, several companies Jumillano, contributions from members of "4 legs" and the city of Jumilla.
Primitivo González, Councillor for Citizen Security, stressed the importance of this association and stated that the City will work closely with her "because of its importance, its enthusiasm and dedication."
In fact, today, "4 legs" and the City work closely together to build a care center for abandoned animals.
The objective of the actions of the young association is to inform and raise awareness of the benefits of microchipping for pets.
And above all, to publicize the contents of the Municipal Ordinance.
Since, according to municipal law, every dog that is usually in Jumilla must be identified.
In fact, driving on the road lack of identification is a minor offense that is punishable by fines of between 30 and 300 euros.
Moreover, the failure to identify the animals is a serious offense is punishable by fines of between 300 and 1500 euros.
To achieve its goals, "4 Legs Jumilla" has published 500 posters and 2,000 information leaflets to be distributed in the streets and shops by the volunteers of the association.
A dozen young weekends inform people that their pets wander about the importance of microchipping.
In addition, different areas will be issued through the local media to reach as many people as possible.
The campaign will feature testimonials from veterinarians, policy makers and authorities.
Each will, from their point of view, because it is so important to identify pets, mainly dogs.
