The Vice Mayor Jesus Sanchez and Secretary of Education, Vocational Guidance and Cultural Action of the UGT Eva Nieto, presented at the Second Conference Jumilla Cultural Action 2008, to be held in the town on 29, 30 and 31 May.
A day earlier were presented in Murcia city by Mayor Francisco Abellán and secretary general of the UGT in the Region Antonio López.
At this conference attended by the secretary general of the UGT Candido Mendez and former Minister of Labour and Social Affairs, Jesus Caldera will receive an award for the defense of democracy, freedom, progress and solidarity.

It will present the Awards' Hands of Solidarity "with an award for activism and dedication to the UGT Murcia (posthumously) will be for Jumillano Abellán José Terol.
