They will be present in our daily lives and even in our own body.
But robots are prepared to be part of the lives of people?

On Tuesday, February 9, the researcher at the Center for Automation and Robotics (CSIC-UPM) Elena Garcia will be responsible for breaking down the myths about robots, mainly fueled by science fiction and explain how they work, their ability to make decisions, and what can we expect from these advanced technologies.

Elena Garcia is currently working on optimizing the bionic exoskeletons for use as a tool for rehabilitation and mobility of children suffering from neuromuscular diseases.
The book club and the conference are part of the outreach project Science City, developed by the Superior Council for Scientific Research (CSIC) and the Caixa Social Work in collaboration with 35 Spanish municipalities in order to bring society today science and technology in an entertaining and easy.
