This morning have completed the workshops on equality and prevention of gender violence who have taught for 22 and 29 January in the Integrated Training Center and Agricultural Experiences of Jumilla (CIFE).
A closure has attended the Councillor for Social Policy and Equality of the City of Jumilla, Salvi Perez.
They have conducted a total of four workshops involved a total of 119 people, of whom 24 were women and 95 men, average degree specialties Utilization and Conservation of Natural, Olive Oil and Wine Production and Agroecology.
And top grade specialty Viticulture.
The ages of the participants have been between 17 and 55 years.
The workshops were taught by Paqui Ruiz, the agent of Equality of the City of Jumilla.
Part of the program of the Department of Social Policy and Equality, will offer various social agents and can also be requested by different organizations and associations of the town.
The objectives are to inform on concepts related to equality, to make a social analysis of sexist attitudes, make visible the relationship between inequality and gender violence, gender violence prevention among specific social groups and provide a space for debate and reflection on socializing agents and their relationship to the social structure and our behaviors.
The contents, treated in a very dynamic and participatory, are related to gender stereotypes and gender roles, sex-gender theory, analysis of the socializing agents, sexism and culture, gender stereotypes in our culture, new masculinities and violence against women.
