The Department of Social Policy, equality and cooperation of the City of Jumilla, through a grant from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Universities of the region and co-financed by the European Social Fund, is being conducted in all centers Township educational workshop preventing absenteeism and dropout students of 6th of Primary and ESO 1, entitled "The importance of education."
The main objective of this workshop is to help students when they have to deal with change of school age, to do so positively.
It was also intended that students see the importance of school attendance in order to achieve, in addition to an academic degree in the future allow them to enter the labor market, training at a personal level.
From the Family Program and Truancy it is considered necessary to intervene preventively, since changes of school, differences in dealing with faculty and other issues impinge as little as possible to students and class attendance is motivating and regular.
